It’s not surprising that Seattle’s housing-market streak continues–now up to 15 months–but housing isn’t the only expense breaking records across the country. According to the most recent Cost of Living Index, as summed up by this Seattle Times article, Seattle ranks in the top 10 for many other goods and services too.
Although home-price growth across the Seattle metro area had cooled over the prior four months, price increases continued at a strong pace in November. Seattle’s streak is the longest for any U.S. city since 2001.
